What AnteAGE is known for
AnteAGE is all about growth factors and cytokines, the messenger proteins skin cells use to talk to each other. In AnteAGE, they're collected from bone marrow stem cells grown in a lab, and no cells are left in the finished product.
The other word you'll see on every box is Biosomes. These are AnteAGE's own tiny lipid carriers, inspired by exosomes but made without human cells. Their job is to help carry the formula into the upper layers of the skin.
Put simply, AnteAGE is designed to help skin look smoother, firmer and more even, and to feel more resilient. It's a quiet kind of active skincare: no gritty scrubs, and the core system contains no retinol.
Who it suits
AnteAGE suits most skin types and ages. I especially like it for skin that looks tired or has lost a little bounce, for skin that often feels dry or stressed, and for anyone who would rather have a retinol-free routine.
It's also a lovely choice if you have clinic treatments, which I'll come back to below.
Where to start: three steps, then SPF
Cleanse with AnteAGE Cleanser, a gentle, sulphate-free foam that leaves skin soft rather than tight. It contains fragrance, so patch-test first if your skin is very reactive.
Then the MD Biosome System, which is the Serum and Accelerator together. Morning and evening, apply one to two pumps of Serum to clean skin, then one to two pumps of Accelerator. The Serum is light and sinks in quickly. The Accelerator is a silky lotion with vitamins C and E and bakuchiol, a plant-based alternative to retinol.
If your skin is dry or tight, add Barrier Repair with Biosomes as your moisturiser. Skin-identical lipids and ectoin help it hold on to hydration. Uneven tone? MD Biosome Brightener slots between the Serum and Accelerator.
We don't stock an AnteAGE sunscreen, so in the morning finish with an SPF you love. Heliocare 360° Water Gel is light and hydrating and sits well over the Accelerator.
Tanisha's tipGrowth factor skincare is slow and steady. Use it twice a day, every day, for a couple of months before you decide how you feel about it.
AnteAGE, other brands and clinic treatments
This is where AnteAGE really earns its place. The MD system is often recommended in the weeks before a treatment, to get skin in good shape, and again afterwards. After laser, radiofrequency or professional microneedling in clinic, your practitioner may give you an AnteAGE aftercare kit with clear steps for the first few days. Biogel, a rich balm, comforts skin that feels dry or tight, including after treatments once your practitioner says it's fine.
AnteAGE layers well with other brands. You could keep a cleanser you already love and add the MD system. If you'd like a retinoid too, ask us where it fits, so your skin isn't doing too much at once.
How AnteAGE is sold here
AnteAGE is sold only through authorised providers, so we offer it after a free 15-minute consultation by phone, video or in one of our clinics. One of my skin experts will look at what you use now and what you'd like to change, then build your routine. There's no obligation to buy, and once your routine is set you can order and reorder here.
