What Heliocare is known for
Heliocare does one thing and does it properly: sun protection. The 360° range covers face and body with SPF50 or SPF50+, and some formulas, such as 360° Sensation, are made to help protect against visible light and infrared-A as well as UVA and UVB.
The name you'll see everywhere is Fernblock, an extract of a fern called Polypodium leucotomos, added for antioxidant support. It works alongside the sun filters, never instead of them.
What I love most is the choice of textures. I've tried and tested thousands of products, and when people skip SPF, it's usually because they don't like how it feels. Heliocare takes that excuse away.
Which one suits you?
Oily or blemish-prone skin: 360° Gel Oil-Free dries to a soft matte finish, and 360° Acnimat helps keep shine down for hours.
Dry, dehydrated or sensitive skin: 360° Water Gel is fresh and hydrating, with hyaluronic acid. For reactive skin, 360° Mineral Tolerance Fluid is fragrance-free and uses mineral filters only.
Under make-up: 360° Sensation is ultralight and dries to a soft matte finish. For a little coverage, 360° Color Gel Oil-Free and 360° Color Water Gel come in Beige and Bronze.
Dark spots or uneven tone: 360° Pigment Solution Fluid has a light tint plus niacinamide. For normal to dry, mature skin, 360° Age Active Fluid adds a soft-focus finish. Both tints suit lighter to medium skin tones.
Where to start: my simple sun kit
You don't need the whole range. Pick one face SPF from the list above and make it the last step of your morning skincare, every day, whatever the weather.
Add 360° Invisible Spray for your body. It goes on clear, is water-resistant and can be applied to wet skin, which is handy on holiday. For top-ups when you're out, 360° Sport Transparent Stick swipes over your nose, ears and the back of your neck.
Be generous. Reapply every two hours when you're outdoors, and after swimming, sweating or towelling. And if you notice a mole or patch of skin changing, please see your GP.
Tanisha's tipKeep your top-up stick in the bag you use most. If it's within reach, you'll actually reapply.
How it fits with other brands and clinic treatments
Heliocare is the sunscreen I'd happily put at the end of almost any routine here. We don't stock sunscreens from AnteAGE, Hydrinity or skinbetter science, so Heliocare fills that gap neatly.
SPF matters most when you use retinoids or exfoliating acids, which can make skin more sensitive to the sun, and after clinic treatments such as peels, laser or professional microneedling. Mineral Tolerance Fluid is a comfortable choice for skin that feels delicate, but follow your practitioner's aftercare on when to start.
Heliocare goes straight into your basket. Torn between two textures? Send us a WhatsApp message with your skin type and we'll suggest one.
